Colorado West Endodontics is committed to the health and safety of our patients, colleagues, and staff. We continue to closely monitor information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and federal, state and local agencies/associations to help ensure we are taking appropriate actions.

The Colorado State Dental Board and American Dental Association (ADA) have mandated delaying non-emergent dental care and continue serving patients whose needs are immediate.

We want to reassure you that we will remain open to see those patients that require immediate care as described in the outline provided by the ADA:

“Dental emergencies, according to the ADA, “are potentially life threatening and require immediate treatment to stop ongoing tissue bleeding [or to] alleviate severe pain or infection.”

As part of the emergency guidance, the Association added urgent dental care, which “focuses on the management of conditions that require immediate attention to relieve severe pain and/or risk of infection and to alleviate the burden on hospital emergency departments.

At Colorado West Endodontics we are focused on proper planning and preventative measures to address COVID-19. We want to reassure you that we are continuing our meticulous sterilization and cleansing practices to provide you with the specialized care you have come to know and expect; as well as additional sterilization and cleansing practices recommended by the CDC and ADA. In addition to our consistent efforts, we have already implemented a screening protocol and scheduling to maintain social distancing; in accordance with the CDC guidelines. We also employ appropriate measures to mitigate risks including telemedicine evaluations to assist in stabilizing patients; and providing any required dental therapeutic medications until the patient is cleared to be seen.

This is all provided to best serve everyone in our community. We will continue our communication with you regarding any status changes as the situation and recommendations evolve. We respect and appreciate your confidence in our practice.

We thank you in advance and extend our gratitude for your understanding and cooperation. Together, we can help keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office, and one of our staff members will be more than happy to assist you.
